Mentor / Mentee Program

NASPGHAN Mentor/Mentee Program 2022

Announcing the 6th year of our program for research and career mentorship. The target audience for this program will be pediatric gastroenterology fellows entering their 2nd or 3rd year of fellowship as of July 2022.

Fellows will be paired with successful research mentors outside of their institution for a period of two years (for 3rd year of fellows, includes last year of fellowship and and first year of faculty appointment). Thus, fellows can expect guidance and unbiased feedback in their area of research from a senior mentor outside of their home institution. This will involve a monthly long-distance interaction and an annual face to face meeting at the National NASPGHAN Meeting.

The mentees will need formal approval from their fellowship program directors (please download and complete application form) and every effort will be made to match all eligible applicants with an appropriate mentor..

The deadline for receipt of completed applications is August 15, 2022.

Please submit applications via email to rbailey@naspghan.org.
