We present the completed 2nd edition of The NASPGHAN Fellows Concise Review of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition to coincide with the World Congress in Montreal 2016. To recall, the 1st edition began as a fellow (Christine Waasdorp Hurtado)-initiated project in 2010, and her recurring participation is fitting. Once again, this volume represents NASPGHAN’s staunch commitment to meet the educational needs of both fellows and members. We thank Nestlé for their generous support of this tome.

In the 2nd edition, we maintain the outline format to provide concentrated information telescopically and highlight clinical pearls using bold and italics. We include more tables and enhance the genetic information. We incorporate new material, such as the Rome IV criteria. The question section has been completely re-written thanks to the heroic efforts of Judy Sondheimer, MD, one of the 1st edition editors.
