NASPGHAN Celebrates Tanisha Richards, N.P. During Black History Month

To recognize Black History Month, NASPGHAN would like to highlight a member of APGNN. Tanisha Richards, NP is an identical twin, wife and mother to an amazing daughter. She became a Registered Nurse in 2004, spending majority of her career as a PICU nurse until becoming a Nurse Practitioner in 2018. In 2019, she began working as an APRN for the Intestinal Rehabilitation Outpatient Clinic at Texas Children’s Hospital, caring for children with short bowel syndrome.
