Culinary Medicine Webinar Series

Blending the art of cooking with the science of medicine, this six-part webinar series offers live interactive educational seminars highlighting the importance of food and diet within a patient’s health plan, as well as instructions on using culinary medicine tailored to specific GI diseases and symptoms.

Each episode pairs a physician and a registered dietitian, and includes an overview of the GI condition, an introduction of dietary management recommendations and a cooking demonstration by a medical chef showing how to carry out the recommendations using corresponding recipes.

  • Wellness and Prevention
    The first in the series, this webinar will highlight plant-based and Mediterranean diets and discuss their adequacy in children and application in pediatric GI diseases. We pair a physician with a registered dietitian, and include a brief overview of the GI condition discussing the proposed diet and its implementation with a recorded demonstration on how to carry out corresponding recipes (conducted by a medical chef).
  • Blenderized Tube Feeding - November 20, 2025 - Register Now
    The second in the Culinary Medicine Series, Blenderized Tube Feeding will discuss the adequacy of this diet in pediatrics and it application in pediatric GI diseases. We pair a physician with a registered dietitian, and include a brief overview of the GI condition discussing the proposed diet and its implementation with a recorded demonstration on how to carry out corresponding recipes (conducted by a medical chef).

    Eosinophilic Esophagitis - December 11, 2024 - Register Now
    EoE is the third in the Culinary Medicine webinar series, and will focus on the dietary management of EoE with food elimination while monitoring micronutrient deficiencies. A medical chef will demonstrate two recipes eliminating the most common allergens preparing delicious and simple recipes, and a physician and registered dietitian will present and discuss the condition and the proposed diet implementation.
