The Dr. Regino “Regi” Gonzales-Peralta Memorial Opening Doors Travel Grants for Fellows are OPEN, with a September 30 deadline.
Sponsored by Mirum Pharmaceuticals, Inc., the program will provide travel grants of up to $3,000 to help pediatric gastroenterology fellows attend the NASPGHAN Annual Meeting.
The grants are designed to reduce financial barriers and expand access to the education, research, networking, and/or mentorship opportunities available at the meeting, and aim to honor the extraordinary legacy of Dr. Gonzales-Peralta and his commitment to mentorship, community, inclusivity, and the advancement of pediatric hepatology.
Dr. Gonzales-Peralta was a valued member of the pediatric hepatology community, known not only for his clinical expertise but also for his warmth, mentorship, and dedication to supporting trainees from all backgrounds. These travel grants celebrate that legacy by helping the next generation of pediatric GI and hepatology physicians connect, learn, and grow.
