Dysbiosis and small bowel bacterial overgrowth are complications that are seen in patients with gastrointestinal illness, especially those with surgical resections. Diagnosis can be difficult, and typical forms of testing such as breath hydrogen tests are not as reliable given the patient’s altered and shortened anatomy. This webinar aims to provide up-to-date information on the diagnosis and treatment of small bowel bacterial overgrowth in pediatric short bowel syndrome.

Our expert moderator and speaker panel will ensure that you leave the webinar with an understanding of the pathophysiology that results in small bowel bacterial overgrowth, ways to diagnose using endoscopy and other clinical criteria, and how to select the appropriate therapies.

Join Chair Valeria Cohran, MD, MS and moderators Ethan Mezoff, MD and Juliana Vaughan, MD as they lead a speaker panel featuring Nikhil Pai, MD, Justine Turner, MBBS, FRACP, PhD and Shweta Namjoshi, MD, MPH.
