Parenteral Nutrition Slide Set

The parenteral nutrition slide set is a comprehensive resource divided into separate educational presentations, delving into current data and concepts concerning this intravenous method of feeding. The slide set begins with an overview and history of PN, and also provides a review of clinical indications for and the administration and components of parenteral nutrition. Complications and monitoring are included, along with PN for both neonatal and the specialized patient. The slide set concludes with a presentation on transitions. Each lecture contains case-based learning examples and brings fundamental knowledge and understanding of the principles for safely managing PN in pediatric patients.

Access the slide set in the NASPGHAN Member Center.

Supported by an educational grant from Fresenius Kabi.
