Telehealth Webinar

Telehealth Webinar

June 10th and 17th - 8pm Eastern Time
(CME, CPE and MOC Part II credits available)

We would like to announce an upcoming NASPGHAN-sponsored Telehealth Webinar co-chaired by Jim Franciosi and B Li and 19 members of the Telehealth Pediatric GI Care Now (TPGCN) working group. The transition to Telehealth has never been more timely than during the current COVID-19 pandemic. This Webinar targets GI practices that are about to start or have recently started Telemedicine. The first session will take place on Wednesday June 10th.

The Webinar will consist of a 1 hour didactic session on three areas including technical video platforms, documentation and billing requirements, and practice management (including nurse and dietitian). This will be followed by four parallel 1 hour breakouts on technical aspects, documentation and billing, in-patient rounds, consultation and education, and practice management – using questions obtained from this Virtual Forum, mini-vignettes as well as live questions sent through the simultaneous chat board. In order to allow participants to attend a second breakout, the program will be re-offered on Wednesday, June 17th with the prerecorded didactic session and live breakouts.

The breakout Q&As will be transcribed, edited and organized into a written FAQ for future use using fellow scribes.

We anticipate this will be a part of a series of NASPGHAN-sponsored content on effective use and evolution of Telehealth Practices.
